Essential Questions

So i not sure what i should write so i'll just post my ideas for some of my own essential questions...

the usuals:

-what kind of world is this?

-how are we supposed to live in this world?

Mine:

-how do you know when youre in love/what really is true love?

-is a person who does a ton of community service for the wrong reasons doing more good than a person who does only a little for the right?

sorri thats all i could think of at the moment....

Seems like you're doing a lot of thinking about love. That's an interesting topic for many reasons. You might think about the different ways one can love. Is love just between people? Or can somebody, for example, love their work?
You also raise a good questions about motivation vs. result. That's a pretty classic questions. Continue to explore!

Well, in terms of your 'community service' example, it really depends on how you look at things. For instance, isn't it possible that in terms of the outcome, the person with the bad intentions is doing far better than the person with good intentions? As long as it doesnt lead to future consequences (like if a CEO donated money, only to later end up taking more/stealing/embezzling from whomever/whatever) I do think that the ill-intentioned person is doing better. It changes a bit if you're more morally inclined, though.

I really don't think love can be defined. I think the term being "in love" with anything is the most fitting, because love's more of a condition than a permanent entity that you can keep.
